Shutterfly Away Now.

How was your Halloween, you all? Was it absolutely spooky for you? Did you share some haunting tales? I told a couple, and I hung out with otto and Yasu and co. It was otto's birthday, so yeah, happy belated to her, right. I hope you had the spookiest of days, and if you didn't do anything, I hope you enjoyed your weekend, and it was rather relaxing for you all the same.

Before I was encumbered with [incredibly fun] social responsibilities, I received a package in the mail. Andy and I made prints and bought them through Shutterfly.com. The quick of it is, is that we were waiting for these prints for a while, and they ended up coming a day late. Not too bad of a wait, honestly, but I was incredibly anxious because I really needed to make sure they got here when I needed them.

And voilà.

Such Lovely {papire}. Goods

I've been craving new notebooks and new little paper goods haunts to purchase them from for a while now. I won't even say how long. I follow a couple of stationery tags on tumblr, and in one of the tags, I came across {papire}., a cute little online stationery shoppe based in Singapore. I've bought from several Singaporean shoppes in the past and have never had a problem with any of them, honestly. The catch is that I've never bought from blog shoppes before, so I decided to take my faith in Singaporean sellers (and my money) and give it a shot.

DRAMATical MUGS — An Inkgarden Review

This is actually a very special (and exciting!) review, because I've been aching to do something creative for the longest time. I'm happy to say that with my friend's help, we were able to create some amazing mugs and printed them using InkGarden. We looked around for a few hours (two or three) for a proper place to customize mugs. The unfortunate thing is that we were looking for two-tone mugs, but we couldn't find places that would print two tone mugs for a good price without being wholesale. We settled for plain white, and the result was absolutely spectacular.

Let's Go Local: La Mongerie Bakery.

Let me tell you about La Mongerie Bakery. Located in Midtown, this lovely bakery is an absolute must see. The first time I visited them was on Thanksgiving Day. My friend from Australia and I wanted to pick up a pie for my grandmother to enjoy. They had a couple of full pies on hand, but there was only one we ended up purchasing a chocolate pecan pie. It was a hefty pie and cost about twenty dollars. We didn't eat any ourselves, but everyone that did was up in arms about it. They kept asking me where did I buy this pie. They had to have it.

For our generous purchase (or maybe they were just feeling generous for the season), we were able to pick one free cupcake a piece. I ended up selecting one called "Blackout", and let me tell you. Chocolate on chocolate with a hint of chocolate. It was a complete overdose, and definitely not for the weak spirited. Honestly, it wasn't a bad experience. It was shocking, I assure you, but it lived up to its name one way or another. Be careful when eating it before you experience a blackout of your own.

The interior and atmosphere are beautiful. I'm a little ashamed that I don't have any saved on my camera or on my mobile. (I thought I did!) Trust me when I say that this bakery has a perfect, immaculate French air. It's all so calming. I wish we had stayed longer to take a few interior shots. But their service was quick, and my mind—sadly—was slow.

If you are ever in Atlanta, make sure to stop by at La Mongerie Bakery. They have two different locations, but I went to the one on Ponce de Leon. Be sure to visit their web site. Tell 'em GDR sent ya.
