Six Steps to 7th Heaven: Million Year Mud

It's been a while since we talked about these, hasn't it? The last one was the Moroccan Clay mask, which was painfully good (and smelled awesome). This one, though, I used sparingly because so many other things took precedence over a thirty-five minute face routine. Regardless, it was eventually finished, and now that everything is right in my small world again, we can finally talk about this.

Pictured above is the Million Year Mud mask. I don't believe I indicated the last mask's purpose, but with the Million Year Mud mask, it's a revitalising face mask. It works with all skin types, and it definitely gives your skin that extra boost.

It's two main ingredients are rhassoul mud and juniper. The colour has a grey-blue presentation. When I took a sniff, I realised that this was... really clinical. When applying just under my nose, it definitely lingered with me. The smell wasn't outright repulsive, but much like the Moroccan Clay, it was very powerful. Unfortunately, it was intense and reminded me of a clinic room. Well, at least it's clean.

Again, apologies ahead of time for the photo quality. My phone has an [un]surprisingly bad camera. I've been trying to get my skincare routine back on point. I usually use the face wash that I got from e.l.f a while, while back, but I wanted an exfoliating mask—something that went deeper. I browsed around and ended up snagging a deal.

The site that I visited is called 7th Heaven, and they have a good deal of masks there for purchase. I wanted to choose just one or two, but they have a special where you can buy six masks for $12. Not bad, so I went for it. Ohohoho, am I glad that I did. I got these on Halloween, and now almost a perfect month after the fact, am I sharing my find with you. I've great timing. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

I don't really have a review. Just taking some pictures of things I've bought a while ago. I made a post about it on my OHP but never here. I'll have a review soon though; I just have to get the (super unedited) photos off my mobile.

I bought this soap because like I've been saying for a while, I've been trying to do more body-positive things. Well, actually I've said I'm trying to do more face positive things, but eh. Same thing, larger scale. I bought the most Kurama/Shuichi thing I could find. Man, it's so pretty looking this package. I'm happy with it; it wasn't an expensive purchase at all really, if I remember correctly.

Influenster: Olay Fresh Effects Review

Guess who got its stuff from its other house! This kid right here. I'm doing more Influenster reviews, since I was so sluggish about it. Thankfully, they're reminding me every now and again to write something. So here we go. I'm going to talk about the Olay Fresh Effects face cleanser. Before I knew it had batteries, I had just bought two packs of double A batteries, so, at least I'm prepared for the future. As you know, I'm pretty big on my face products right now. So far so good to be honest! Everything I've bought has worked for me, and this is no different.

Face Care: PUREDERM

Here's a pretty short and sweet entry. Yesterday, I went out with Yasu and otto to our local H-MART. I wrote about my "haul" on my OHP's blog, but here's a review of one of the products. This is a face mask by PUREDERM. As you can see, it's the Kiwi Yogurt Pack. I bought it because (thepricewasnice) I love kiwis, and I'm always in the market to try new face products.

The package is relatively easy to open; it will require some effort to pull open. Unless you use scissors, then hey, snip snip. The first thing I wanted to know was how did it smell? Nothing like kiwis. Not a damn thing. It wasn't wholly unpleasant. It reminded me of the bubble solution that comes in the little containers with the bubble wands.

You have to be careful not to squeeze too much of the solution out into your hand. You don't need much. It goes on smooth, and once you massage it on your face, just sit and wait. It takes about five minutes for it to really set in. I waited about two Toby Turner Minecraft videos before washing it off.

To be honest, my face doesn't feel as smooth as when I use my e.l.f. cleansing powder, but it still feels nice. The major upside of this is that, my face still feels moisturized. So in contrast to my e.l.f. cleansing powder, I can see why I'm not as silky, silky smooth right after.

I really like this product, and I would definitely get this in a bottle, pump, or something of that accord. For now, I'm going to stock up on H-MART's supply of these and get my cleanse on. I'm pretty satisfied with the amount of products I have right now and the quality of them all.

e.l.f. is for: [f]ace

Sorry, I was a little late on this entry because I started an internship as a blogger this week. Admittedly, I'm tired from cranking out ten posts a day, but I'm doing my best you know. To celebrate my first day off, I'm going to post the conclusion of my e.l.f. series.

Final products are the Mineral Face Cleanser and the Makeup Remover Cleansing Cloths. I'll review them right to left, saving my favourite product for last. 

L.A. Colors Review

L.A. Colors is a product that appears in several stores namely beauty supplies and Dollar Generals. I own two other colours by them. However, the white seemed to fall lax. In an extreme sort of way, from what I have experienced.

The name of the polish is Energy Source. The application is smooth, and I put on perhaps two coats of it when I noticed a problem. It doesn’t apply very well and clumps up when layered. The more layers that are added (I had to make four layers for a design), the clumpier it looks. It’s overall unflattering and looks similar to white out, which, funnily enough, I have applied on my nails in the past (stupidly, as a kid) and have had better results with. Because of this, I won’t use this polish again.

★ I would advise others to be wary of this product. I do not recommend it.
