Let's Stay Healthy.

I don't really have a review. Just taking some pictures of things I've bought a while ago. I made a post about it on my OHP but never here. I'll have a review soon though; I just have to get the (super unedited) photos off my mobile.

For now, try this one for size (or for smell).

I bought this soap because like I've been saying for a while, I've been trying to do more body-positive things. Well, actually I've said I'm trying to do more face positive things, but eh. Same thing, larger scale. I bought the most Kurama/Shuichi thing I could find. Man, it's so pretty looking this package. I'm happy with it; it wasn't an expensive purchase at all really, if I remember correctly.

Things I Like to Do

I love blogging; I like writing, even though my writing voice, no matter what the medium, isn't very good. Though it may not be obvious to you all on this sort of self imposed forum, I lack an extreme lack of confidence, and the many things I do I continue to do merely out of unstoppable compulsion alone. Insert blogging. It's one of my torturous vices. I love it in the same breath that it pains me. I continue to do it because I love it more than I am compelled to do it. And that's saying a lot.

One of the main, I don't know, forms of blogging that I like is food blogging. I love food very, very much. Yes, it's gluttony to an extent, but food always makes me feel good 9.9 times out of 10. Food blogging is great, because it really draws attention to great places to eat and the good food they make. You know, if it's good. I love the way food looks in person, and I like learning about other people's tastes. Through them, I also learn new recipes and techniques by watching prevalently food bloggers.

Below I've included a few photos of the food I had on my birthday. I don't think I ever made a post of it, but since it's relevant, I'll just include them below.

Influenster: Olay Fresh Effects Review

Guess who got its stuff from its other house! This kid right here. I'm doing more Influenster reviews, since I was so sluggish about it. Thankfully, they're reminding me every now and again to write something. So here we go. I'm going to talk about the Olay Fresh Effects face cleanser. Before I knew it had batteries, I had just bought two packs of double A batteries, so, at least I'm prepared for the future. As you know, I'm pretty big on my face products right now. So far so good to be honest! Everything I've bought has worked for me, and this is no different.

Digging Around eBay.

I almost forgot to talk about this, which is ridiculous because I wear it everyday. Or damn close to it. I bought this wig from an eBay seller on the 3rd, I believe. I honestly can't remember. It came on the 11th, right after my con. So I didn't get to share in its luxury then. But now I can with my talons. It's a fun right.

Since there are no pictures, I'll just hit the basics. This wig was $16.62 with free shipping. It's 100cm, and holy shit is this thing long. I really want to get closer and closer towards my style, and this is a good step. I haven't cut the wig or the bangs, so it's pretty much in its original state. I'm about 163cm/5'4" so the wig comes down to the middle of my backside at the very, very tip. The thickness starts to wane at about the small of my back/just above my backside, so it's pretty manageable. The bangs fall down just an inch under my chin. It's crazy!

Since this is a long wig, it is sort of crazy when it comes to how badly it frays/tangles. It comes with the territory, I'm afraid. Honestly, I'm not too worried about it so long as I have a wide toothed comb/wide brush. It's incredibly soft and wonderful to the touch.

There's nothing bad to say about it. It flows and people actually think it's my hair. Thankfully, it doesn't have a terrible shine to it that screams, "Look at me; I'm synthetic." This is my first really long wig, and the seller is amazing. I can't wait to buy from them again, to be honest.

For those interested, here is eBay listing of the wig I bought!

Important Notice About Monoprice Drivers.

Let's talk about how I managed to get my drivers downloaded for my Monoprice tablet.

Again, my Monoprice graphic art tablet is a hand-me-down, and it was new as well. Yasu used it sparingly when they had it, and so it (the tablet) is in good condition still. When a Monoprice tablet is purchased, a small disk is supposed to be included. This includes all the drivers needed for Mac and Windows users. Supposedly anyway. Now let's say you lose the disk or it breaks. Here's what I would not do.

My First Art Tablet, a Monoprice Review

I'm the proud owner of a Monoprice graphic drawing tablet.

I've heard about Monoprice for a number of years. I think about three years or something like that. I've honestly heard a lot of good about the product. Though, it still has its downfalls, they aren't major, I believe. I actually got my Monoprice from Yasu, who was so kind to give me theirs. I'm primarily a Mac user now since my Compaq (a Windows computer) shorted out and died on me. How unfortunate.

I'll try to do an article that goes a little more in depth about finding Mac drivers and all that soon after this one. I would try to speak from a personal experience, but I used my Monoprice on Yasu's Windows laptop for all of ten seconds. Until then, enjoy this review.

God of War: Ascension!

I've been doing a lot of hyping, researching, and writing for the newest God of War game. On a professional level, but I always have that taste in my mouth in which I can never say what I really want. Now I'm not an astute person, and my vocabulary is minimal. So I could never express myself to the T, but let me just say this.

I am absolutely hyped about this game.

God of War: Ascension has been promoted pretty heavily on Playstation's YouTube, and I'm glad that I got to see the various trailers. Ascension is the first God of War game to include multiplayer this time around, and in one of the modes, players get to fight as four different gods. One of the new skins is from the movie 300. Players, become King Leonidas and kick more ass. I think that one of the things that excites me most is that three of the Ascension videos included a behind the scenes into the development process. I'm planning on breaking into the video game scene, and seeing things like this just gives me so much motivation to develop my current projects more and more!

Now let me just say that, Ascension is another origin game. There are several being released this year, one of which being Tomb Raider. For those of you who haven't seen the initial trailer, let me present it to you.

We relive Kratos losing his family, but this time around, with a little more attachment. The brutality of the previous God of War games sits true; the action doesn't let up for anyone. There's something new in this game as well. I can't remember the exact term off the top of my head, but there are no quick time reactions in the game. There's a new cinematic feature where gamers are closer to the action and can react of their own accord.

Ascension is out today for North America, and then it's out tomorrow for Asia, Australia, and Europe. Everywhere in Europe except the UK. Ascension goes to the UK on March 15th. Too bad so sad, UK.

As  I said, I'm ecstatic for this game. When I was at the con, I found out that one of the visiting voice actors is in there too, so I'm curious to hear who she plays in there. Where I able to get my hands on Ascension, I'd play the hell out of this game. God of War is my one of my favourite games, and I'm really hope that it lives up to its grit. From all of the features and BTS videos that've been released, it looks promising.

Man, oh man. I really hope that's true.

Post Con Extravaganza.

I had a great time at MomoCon 2013. The panel was a great success for those who went. I thought I was going to come back armed with photos, but alas, I have none! Okay, maybe a few, but those are lovely and personal. I'm really glad that I had the opportunity to go. Zetsubou was kind enough to bring me in and take me along. I'm really glad that I stepped up and became a part of her project.

I look forward to my next convention, and I hope that I come a little more prepared with all my wares! Thank you so much if you went, and let's keep an eye for the future.

Also (!!) thank you so much for reading this blog so far. I'm working hard to bring you more content when I can. I'll see you soon.

Creative Spark?

I have déjà vecu like crazy, especially when it comes to me blogging here, but I'm going to put up an update.

I wrote about it on my OHP, but I've gotten into crafting envelopes. As of writing this, I think I've made about twenty or twenty-five? I only have pictures of a few of them right now. I can't seem to get into the grove of taking photos of them. And since I feel like I might want to sell them in the future, I honestly might have to think about it. Here's a couple of pictures from one of the bunches I've made. It's been a while ride.
